About the Role

As a Carpenter supporting camp and facility maintenance, no two days are the same. You’ll be working across accommodation rooms, camp kitchens, and office areas, responding to a variety of maintenance tasks to keep facilities safe, functional, and presentable.
A typical day involves:

• Attending to reactive maintenance jobs across camp rooms, kitchens, and site buildings


• Inspecting reported defects and determining the most practical repair method


• Carrying out general carpentry repairs and minor building works


• Working closely with other trades to support broader maintenance activities


• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and quality workmanship

You’ll often move between tasks and locations throughout the day, requiring flexibility and the ability to prioritise work effectively.

• Roof & Structural Maintenance


• Cabinetry & Internal Fixtures


• Camp Kitchens Maintenance


• General Maintenance Support


• Safety & Compliance


• Bathrooms / Wet Areas

You will be working across our our residential sites on a FIFO 7:7 arrangement, with 12 hour working days.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

• Trade Qualified Carpenter


• Valid Australian C class driver’s license


• HIAB, EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights, Dogging and Rigging Certificates (Desirable)


• Mix of experience in both Domestic work and Mining Operations


• A proven track record of safety management


• Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously


• Must be able to work successfully in a team environment and assist other trades where required


• Strong communication and relationship management skills
