Technician - Fire - Sprinkler Fitter

Due to growth in the business, we are looking for Sprinkler Fitters based in the Moorebank region. In this role you will maintain and repair all wet fire systems in accordance with the required codes for our clients across High Rise, Commercial and Industrial environments.

What will you be doing?

• Completing Maintenance, inspection, testing, repairs, and installation on sprinkler systems. 
• Service/ repair works.
• Performing on site callouts with proven field service experience & ability to troubleshoot, test and repair.
• Expand your skills through internal and external training opportunities.
• Work in a positive and supportive team environment to ensure client's needs are met.
• Attend monthly toolbox talks and regular training sessions.
• Quoting & scoping for upcoming works.
• Attend client site meetings as a subject matter expert.
• Preparing accurate and timely onsite service sheets and reports via apps
• Work collaboratively with a growing team of wet technicians.

Role Requirements

Qualified and experienced service Sprinkler Fitter (Tradesman); fire experience in similar roles; Confidence in dealing with customers and clients and a focus on quality and safety, as well as experience in 2 or more of the following:

• Strong experience and understanding of AS1851/ AS2118/ AS2419/ AS2941
• Fire sprinkler & hydrant systems
• Fire pump set and water supply systems.
• Deluge, pre-action and wall wetting systems.
• Gaseous suppression systems
• Familiarity and confidence of Fire Panels
• Sound knowledge of the industry standards and legislation.
• Elevated work platform ticket (desirable)
