As our Technology Operations Lead, you’ll lead the day to day operation of a portfolio of insurance technology platforms while driving meaningful improvements that make services stronger, safer and more resilient. Working with engineers, delivery partners and business stakeholders, you’ll balance operational excellence with continuous improvement, helping teams solve problems, reduce risk and deliver value faster. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), or Naarm (Melbourne).

What You'll Do
•    Lead the operational performance of a portfolio of technology platforms, ensuring they remain secure, resilient, reliable and ready to support customer needs.
•    Drive incident, problem and change management practices, identifying root causes and implementing lasting improvements that reduce recurring issues.
•    Partner with internal teams and managed service providers to improve service outcomes, performance metrics and platform stability.
•    Prioritise and manage a backlog of small changes, balancing business value, operational risk reduction and platform health.
•    Coach and develop engineers and team members, creating an environment focused on learning, ownership and continuous improvement.
•    Use data and operational insights to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency and stronger customer outcomes.

What You'll Bring
•    Experience leading technology operations, application support or service management teams in complex environments.
•    Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and a passion for improving operational performance.
•    Confidence using data, metrics and trends to solve problems and drive improvements.
•    Experience working with vendors, partners and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
•    The ability to prioritise competing demands and keep teams focused on what matters most.
•    A collaborative leadership style that supports growth, capability building and team success.
•    Exposure to Agile or DevOps ways of working, with an interest in continuous improvement and innovation.
