Technology Risk and Compliance Manager

We are currently working with one of Australia's most iconic software companies in finding them two experience Risk and Compliance Managers to join their Enterprise R&C team. These roles are initially 3 month rolling contracts with the potential for longer extension or opportunity for permanency.

In this role, you will be working on two enterprise initiatives and will be primarily responsible for identifying, documenting, and analysing risk management data and ensuring the Enterprise Risk Register is up to date and to standard. A key trait of the successful candidate is being able to autonomously consult with the wider business and senior stakeholders in identifying and mitigating risks.

About the role

You would be involved in:

• Lead the identification, communication, measurement, and oversight of enterprise-wide risks.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve and entrench a risk management culture.
• Provide guidance and training to promote risk awareness, ownership, and accountability.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify risks.
• Continuously monitor and update the enterprise risk register.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to achieve greater efficiencies.
• Support enterprise risk reporting requirements for various Stakeholders.
  
  

To be successful for the role, you would ideally:

• Strong knowledge and experience working with Risk Management principles and RM tools.
• Previous experience working as a Risk and Compliance Manager within a fast paced and agile environment.
• Ability to be proactive and work independently, managing one's time.
• Strong and effective communication skills to support various levels of management (up to C-Suite).
