3 x Telecommunications Specialists with fiber optic, RF equipment, site audits, Cisco Wi-Fi experience, and a background in mining or O&G sites needed for a 12-month contract role in Perth.
$60-70 per hour (negotiable) overtime rates available Perth CBD (20-30 days offshore annually) Must be Australia based, no exceptionsContract until Dec 31st with 12 month extension after The company is an extremely well-known and respected global energy business with sites and operations across the planet. For this role, you will be based in the Perth CBD as well as up to 30 days annually offshore when required. You will have to have experience in previous roles as a telecoms technician managing and supporting the fiber optic, RF, and Wi-Fi setup on either mine sites or O&G rigs.
Role Summary: - Delivery of project activities in accordance with the requirements of the Program and Project Managers.
- Focus on performance in areas of safely, risk, quality, cost and schedule.
- Creation and management of ISSOW work requests.
- Keeping the Program and Project Managers fully informed on commissioning performance including key KPI’s and continuous improvement status.
- Working with stakeholders to ensure resources (people, tooling etc) are used in the most efficient manner with a focus on improving productivity for the specific project and cross projects as required.
- Apply change management processes (MoC) where changes and engage relevant managers / decision makers to support those changes.
- Where changes must be made to protect cost, schedule or functionality, supporting decision makers with explanation/understanding of the issues involved and the options and trade-offs available for proceeding.
- Managing and close out of work orders within SAP.
- Providing updates and reports to relevant stakeholders on activity progress.
- Effective communication with Asset owners on safe working procedures and activity progress.

- SAP conversant
- TBOSIET (desirable)
- Offshore medical (desirable)
- MSIC
- Industry Safety Induction (ISI)
- Certificate III/IV Telecommunications Technology
- Restricted or full electrical license (Desirable)
- EEHA installation, maintenance, detailed inspection
