Telehealth doctor (Online)

DOCTO Telehealth, established in 2014, provides high-quality Telehealth consultations to our corporate partners and the general public.

We seek RMOs (PGY-3 and above), registrars, emergency physicians, and GPs to join our growing team of doctors and provide video and phone consultations with referred patients. Training, technology, and clinical and administrative support are all provided.

Video consultations are by appointment in 20-minute blocks via DOCTO’s technology platform. The patients have acute, single issues requiring only straightforward management. Most are young patients with minor, self-limiting musculoskeletal injuries.

Integrated telehealth tools for reports and certificates. It is a fully supervised and supported role with senior support and advice instantly accessible at all times.

Full-time 36 hours per week

• flexible roster
• 1 overnight on-call (phone only) per week

Terms

• $15,600-$22,500 per month + medical indemnity allowance
• Contractor arrangement
• Start date July 8th 2024 
• Minimum term three months

Requirements

• ABN holder
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• PGY3 and above
• Emergency Medicine or General Practice experience essential
• Medical indemnity insurance

Tasks & responsibilities

• Participate in DOCTO's EP/RMO/registrar/GP roster. 
• Perform video or phone consultations with referred patients.
• A report must be provided for all consultations.
• Patients may need a prescription (e.g. antibiotics or antiemetics) or referral.
