About us
The Technology & Systems Delivery PMO was established to provide, at a program level, strategic leadership, direction and oversight of Translink's technology and information systems and initiatives in addition to the management of an annual rolling program of work.
Key responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to initiate and manage transformation projects (medium to high complexity), including engagement with key business and technical stakeholders, facilitating scope definition, and developing the required project products, facilitating organisation change management, and tracking of milestones and costs.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Project Initiation
• Establishing new projects, including registers, templates, repositories, and tools and develop key project management documentation and artefacts for the Start Up and Initiation Stages.
Project Management
• Plan, manage and deliver the project activities and resources to achieve the required outcomes within the project timeframes and budget with high standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers as well as Senior Management, the PMO Director, PMO Controls and Assurance Manager and the Delivery Manager.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues, dependencies, priorities, progress to milestones and budget, conflicts and provide regular and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate project governance and assurance activities are in place for the project including Project Boards updates to the Technology & Strategy Board and gating requirements.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Minimum 5+ years project management experience delivering key projects with significant technology components.
• PRINCE2, Agile or other relevant Project Management certification.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project Server/Online.
• Portfolio/program experience in business transformation with significant IT components.
• Experience in vendor management.
