For over 170 years, Anglicare has been serving people in need. We began because people saw a need and were compelled to make a difference, and that purpose continues today. Our Vision: Jesus Christ honoured, lives enriched, and communities strengthened.

About the role

This role is based within our Community and Mission team, supporting the development of high-quality funding submissions that enable our services to deliver meaningful outcomes across the community.

You will support the end-to-end tender and grants process, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop compelling submissions, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.

  • Play a key role in securing funding that enables vital community services, directly contributing to programs that support people in need

  • Work across the full tender lifecycle - from identifying opportunities to crafting high-quality, competitive submissions in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment

  • Build your expertise in research, service design and funding strategy while partnering with leaders across Community and Mission to shape impactful initiatives

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the coordination, development and submission of grant applications and tenders

  • Researching funding opportunities and gathering evidence to strengthen proposals

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to help develop service models

  • Drafting, reviewing and editing high-quality written submissions

  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking tender and grant activity

  • Ensuring all submissions meet compliance requirements and deadlines

  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and contributing to a collaborative working environment

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, communications, social sciences or similar)

  • Experience in tender writing, grant applications, or professional/technical writing

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor content to different audiences

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Strong research and analytical capability

  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work

  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team

  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence (desirable)

Why Anglicare?

We provide meaningful opportunities and choice, both for the individuals and communities we support, and the dedicated people here who make it happen.
