About the role: 

Aptella are seeking a full time Territory Account Manager reporting to the Sales Manager (Geospatial) based out of our Balcatta, WA branch.

This role is ideally suited to a Surveyor who can or is looking to take on a sales role. If you have experience in 3D Laser Scanning/ Surveying Technology AND a passion for sales- this role is for you!

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the setting of annual sales targets for the region
  • Scheduling sales activities, including business development, account management and sales admin tasks.
  • Demonstration of Total Stations and Relevant Software
  • Proactive negotiation with clients within the guidelines and levels of authority defined by the company.
  • Preparation and presentation of detailed proposals to clients, directly targeting their qualified requirements.
  • Weekly reporting of activities, outcomes, and market Intel (as specified by Sales Manager).
  • Full utilisation of CRM for all sales activities including all customer interactions, progress of proposals and expected demand on stocked items.
  • Commitment and contribution to developing, meeting and exceeding budgeted sales targets of the sales team.
  • Participation in industry events, conferences and company-based activities as required.

 

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in, knowledge of and success in Geospatial sales, business development and account management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of competitor products and market dynamics
  • Preferred skills in all aspects of the sales process and negotiation, particularly in multi-level decision processes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal management direction when required.
  • Solid territory management and sales negotiation skills.
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Aptella product range and their applications and benefits.
  • Professional personal presentation and a strong desire to learn and develop.

 

Desirable:

  • Cadastral Surveying Experience or
  • Land Development/ Civil Engineering Experience
