FMCG TERRITORY MANAGER- Woolongong Region

About the Company

SimConnect National is a leading authorised distributor of Telstra Prepaid Telecommunications and I.T related products. A vacancy has arisen within our New South Wales sales team for an experienced Territory Manager to join our organisation to manage a diverse portfolio of retail clients whilst identifying potential new customers.

About the Role

The Territory Manager role reports to our National Sales Manager and you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships within the Route, P&C, Grocery, & Consumer Electronics channels. You must have previous experience servicing retailers in any of these channels as you are responsible for in-store promotional execution, managing and negotiating brand presence within the shopfront and most importantly achieving and exceeding sales targets. Regional travel is required as part of this role.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying, & building relationships with new and existing retailers’
  • New product launches
  • Work to sales promotions across a variety of retail groups within Independent, P&C, and Consumer Electronics retailers.
  • Placing/ Maintaining promotional point of sale across your territory

About You

  • A proven track record enhancing relations with retailers from some/all of the above retail channels.
  • Have strong business acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities within your customer base.
  • A keen eye for detail when displaying our product ranges to maximise sales and when executing campaign/promotional material.
  • Ability to plan your days and work autonomously as this is a field position.
  • We are looking for somebody who is creative and can work in a dynamic National Sales Team sharing ideas as well as putting their own stamp on the role.
