Job Description - Territory Manager - Victoria

The Territory Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing the sales geography assigned and ensure the achievement of sales revenue targets for the company. This includes overseeing and leading the identification of business opportunities, building and fostering client relationships, and ensuring the effective sales of Evoke systems to meet/exceed sales forecasts and goals. This position reports directly to the Country Manager. Prior experience in spinal cord stimulation is ideal, although experience with active implantable devices is also highly valued..


 


Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:


  



  • Participates during surgeries and implants of products to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance

  • Provides technical support with re-programming and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics

  • Grow the business with new customers to meet or exceed revenue goals and objectives.

  • Learns how to autonomously program patients intraoperatively and post operatively and appropriately represent the full chronic pain product line in procedural cases.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing territory customers.

  • Develops and maintains an understanding of Chronic Pain Therapies in a competitive environment.

  • Train and educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals, etc.) to keep customers abreast of new and existing products.

  • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.

  • Provide high level of service with patient outcomes held in the highest regard.

  • Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment (hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, surgical centers).

  • Attend physician education conferences and events

  • Communicate with Patients and Clients afterhours and on weekends as needed.

  • Travel 60% plus.

  • Other duties as assigned.


 


 


Qualification Requirements:


 



  • Strong ability to gather feedback from investigators, prioritize clinical needs, and translate needs into specific clinical systems requirements, architecture, and interface specifications

  • A demonstrated ability to work with staff at different levels within investigator sites and an ability to deal sensitively with people from different cultures.

  • Passion for technological innovation, helping patients, and building lasting relationships with end customers


 


 


Physical Job Requirements:


 



  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • 5+ years of sales experience in implantable medical devices

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.


 


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


 



  • Operating room sales highly desirable.

  •  Analytical skills, including statistical analysis preferable.

  • PC skills necessary (MS Office/Excel) and experience with sales force automation tools

  • Ability to travel.

  • Possess high empathy and compassion for patients.

  • Demonstrated success in previous sales role; indicating a high level of sales performance.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize own daily work routine to meet region requirements.

  • Adhere to company policies and conducts all business in an ethical manner.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
