Job Description - Test Analyst

The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of data pipelines, transformations, and integrations. This role works closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted data solutions through robust testing practices.

What you'll need to succeed

Strong understanding of data testing concepts, ETL processes, and data validation techniques
Experience with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
Attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

What you'll get in return

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for data pipelines, transformations, and system integrations.
Validate data quality, accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance and regulatory standards using both automated and manual testing techniques.
Develop, maintain, and enhance test scripts, test frameworks, and automation integrated within CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable and scalable testing.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across data ingestion, processing, and reporting workflows.
Document test cases, test results, and defect logs in a clear, structured, and auditable manner to meet compliance and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and solution designers to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and support timely resolution.
Recommend and implement improvements to testing methodologies, tools, and processes to support continuous improvement and best practices.
Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Verification Testing (BVT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
