As a Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of digital transformation and technology initiatives.
Working closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, vendors and business stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for planning, preparing and executing testing activities throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll help ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
What You'll Do
Plan, design and execute testing activities across the project lifecycle.
Develop test cases, test scripts, test scenarios and test plans.
Perform functional, system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
Analyse business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, investigate, document and manage defects through to resolution.
Prepare, validate and reconcile test data.
Maintain test documentation, traceability and testing evidence.
Work closely with project teams, developers, vendors and business stakeholders to support quality outcomes.
Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, issues and results.
Support production verification, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst within medium to large ICT projects.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC and quality assurance principles.
Experience developing and executing test cases, test scripts and test plans.
Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and defect investigation skills.
Experience with data validation and SQL or similar database technologies.
Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.
ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing qualification.
Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
