About the role


As a Theatre Technician, you work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in the provision of patient focused holistic health care in order to deliver a quality service and ensure positive patient outcomes achieve desired clinical outcomes. Key responsibilities 





  • Ensure safe preparation, positioning, and transfer of patients, while maintaining a clean, well-equipped, and safe operating theatre environment.

  • Perform all tasks within scope of practice, ensuring equipment is operational, and supporting efficient theatre workflow and daily scheduling.

  • Follow Occupational Health & Safety policies, report hazards and incidents via Riskman, and ensure adherence to infection control and regulatory requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with theatre staff, share knowledge, maintain respectful communication, complete mandatory training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.




 




What we’re looking for 





  • Minimum 12 months experience working as a Theater Technician 

  • Available to work all shifts involved in providing a 24 hour service, 7 days a week 

  • Willing to participate in on the job training and/or specific skills education as required

  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
