A 7 month FTC opportunity is currently available for a trade focused 1:1 Marketer to join a fast paced environment delivering greater frequency across broad segments within customer engagement.

The Role:Reporting into the Head of Engagement, this role will deliver a clear direct marketing strategy to continue to optimise returns across multiple customer segments within the business. Commercially you will sit in the driving seat and will have the capability to utilise the correct channels (mainly being email) to prioritise customer campaigns / promotions. The role will work across a diverse range of stakeholders and you will deliver greater frequency of engagement, category awareness/extension and increased customer lifetime
value (including driving Omni-channel value) as well as delivery on e-commerce/mobile app contribution.
Key Responsibilities: - You will create data driven direct marketing activities to grow
incremental sales including designing, implementing and managing a
successful plan and contact strategy to deliver value - driving
targeted campaigns and offers across multiple segments and a variety
of owned (push) channels. - Navigate direct marketing levers at the right time and channels
to trade the business to maximise sales and profitability. - Drive incremental revenue Increase quantity of communications through email, app and SMS.
- Partner with the CRM agency to develop and support direct marketing campaign and email builds.
- Increase customer engagement levels (open rates, click
through rates) - Leverage existing relationships and develop new relationships where
required to develop and deliver customer-centric communications. - Leverage customer segments and microsegments, and
factor in behavioural, transactional, and engagement trends. - Negotiate the prioritisation of campaigns as required, and liaise
with key internal stakeholders to ensure delivery on priorities and
plans on time, to budget and with a high degree of quality. - Drive a larger basket value through cross-sell and up-sell. Reduce unsubscribe rates
Key Requirements: - Ideally seeking 6-7 years expertise in covering retail Direct Marketing, including trade and CRM across 1:1 channels, to drive measurable outcomes within complex businesses and structures, ideally with direct or virtual P&L ownership.
- Ideally industry experience in Retail / FMCG / consumer services
- Strong knowledge of direct and digital marketing best practices, with a proven ability to build and optimise campaign activity
and investment for optimal return. - Demonstrated capability in developing deep customer insight and translating this into pragmatic direct marketing programs.
- Understanding of customer databases and customer data assets as they relate to direct marketing objectives, including targeting,
segmentations and predictive modelling. - Experience with digital marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Braze, Tealium and experience in campaign automation.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and digital advertising principles, including programmatic media buying, paid search and SEO.
