Retail Sales Job Description

We are looking for an experience and knowledgable retail specialist to join our Kingroy store, supporting our customers in a range of areas including Paint, Power Tools and Power Garden. If you have a desire to learn and possess strong customer service skills, then please apply! You will be offered the opportunity to work in a role where you learn a variety of tasks that give you the scope to develop your skills and start a career within the Sunshine group.

Please note there will be weekend work.

The role:

• Processing of customer sales


• Merchandising


• Maintain store standards


• Customer Service proactively approach customers in store and engaging with customers, providing expert advice on products


• Champion the various retail departments, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to boost sales


• Attend supplier training to grow your knowledge of all hardware products.


• Work with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions, using your knowledge of products you will take a full approach to selling.

Ideally you will have/be: 

• Knowledge and understanding of the Hardware & Building sector


• Self-motivated with a strong team focus. 


• Excellent customer service skills


• Loads of energy, proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude


• Team player who will help the team achieve sales targets

Trade Sales Job Description

We are looking for Trade sales persons for our trade division at our Kingaroy store. This role will suit someone who has previous experience in the building and construction industry and is ready to use their skills and knowledge to support our Trade customers.

Please note there will be weekend work.

The Role

• Customer Service, assisting clients with selection of general building products


• Unloading & storage of Heavy & Light Timbers & Building materials


• Picking Orders


• Counter Sales


• Engage with customers, providing expert advice on products


• Work with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions, using your knowledge of products you will take a full approach to selling.
  

Ideally you will have

• Knowledge and understanding of the Hardware & Building sector


• Forklift license (or ability to attain prior to start)


• Self-motivated with a strong team focus.
