We are looking for an enthusiastic Trade Assistant to join our growing RBIHA team! 

As a Trade Assistant you will learn a range of different tasks across the RBIHA business under the direction and instruction of experienced qualified technicians including, but not limited to; 

• Paint application techniques on both composite & metal blades
• Paint removal, repair and preparation work processes 
• Assist in following work scopes from assigned projects, maintain required records and ensure they are complete meeting customer requirements.
• Perform tasks as directed to correct or prevent over-runs.
• Ensure maintenance performed on components is conducted in compliance with the Civil Aviation regulations.

As a successful candidate your entry into the aviation industry will be supported with on job training, mentoring and guidance from industry professionals with potential external training and education encouraged and supported where required. 

What will help you to succeed?

• Well developed hand skills with an intermediate skill level when using various power tools correctly and efficiently.
• An interest in or working knowledge of spray painting, paint removal and preparation.
• Willingness to gain an understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft maintenance.
• Computer literate at basic level in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and Microsoft Outlook, or similar programs.
• High attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
• Proactive and results focused.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and autonomously.
