Trade Yard Team Member - Queanbeyan - Hudson

About the role

Hudson Mitre 10 has an opportunity to work with our great team at our Queanbeyan Store on a casual basis with availability to work on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated and be relied upon to work in a team environment and contribute to the performance of the store.

What you will be doing

• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department


• Serving customers in the yard- helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service


• Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks


• Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products

What you will bring

• Demonstrate a strong customer focus


• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised


• Work in a fast paced environment


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines


• Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day


• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency


• Ability to be available for work across the 5 days of the week which may include the occasional Saturday morning


• Forklift Licence is a must
