Trainee Service Technician - Exciting Challenge

Role

You will be part of the wider service department, which provides a field service with a focus on support and fault clearance of radio and data terminal equipment. As a trainee, you will learn on the job and be shown every aspect of the role for approx. 6 months, then you will set out on your own with a vehicle.

Typically, your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Test, repair and replace telecommunications equipment in vehicles
• Perform quality assurance checks on completed repairs
• Maintain personal stock levels of required items for each service
• Remove, recover and return decommissioned assets

To be considered, you will possess the following:

• Structured wiring and/or automotive DC experience
• Reliable, punctual with a sense of urgency
• Flexible, strong work ethic with a positive attitude
• Knowledge and good practice standards in using manual and electronic hand tools
• Ability and quick to learn new skills and procedures
• You must have a current Victorian manual drivers licence
