We're on the lookout for
Trainee Soil and Concrete Testing Technicians eager to kickstart a fulfilling journey with Construction Sciences. These positions are based in Townsville.
In these roles, you'll engage in various tasks, including testing soil and concrete samples, utilizing on-site testing equipment, handling manual tasks, and employing computer tools to analyze and validate results. Depending on your expertise, you may have the chance to work on customer construction sites, undertaking concrete & soil investigations, drilling, and related duties. Your career path is yours to shape - whether you prefer the lab environment or thrive on-site. There will be regular lifting of soil & concrete samples (up to 20kg).
Our Trainee permanent wage rates are typically around $26-27.5 ph + OT (adjusted for those under 21's).
We're looking for those who: - Hold a current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred) and possess a White Card (or are willing to promptly obtain one).
- Are able to perform repetitive manual tasks in the laboratory and or field
- Are able to lift up to 20kg
- Are looking to build and grow a long term career
- Are either Australian / NZ Citizens or Permanent Residents OR hold a Family / Partner VISA with no restrictions
