The Education and Learning portfolio deliver’s a range of accredited, non-accredited and case management services. We are looking for qualified Trainer/Assessors with a Construction background who will be pivotal in training the next generation of tradespeople.
As a Trainer/Assessor - Construction, you will have the opportunity to provide efficient and effective training and assessment to clients. You will assess and address the varied learning need of each student including language, literacy, and numeracy.
This position will be based at SYC’s Kent Town site with frequent travel to our Elizabeth site on a permanent full-time, basis.
You will work collaboratively with the Training Management Team to deliver best practice training and advise, support, and mentor students to achieve their learning goals. The daily routine activities will include:

Where a motor vehicle allowance is provided for the use of the employee’s personal vehicle for work purposes, the employee’s vehicle used must have a safety rating of 4 or 5-star ANCAP or EURO-NCAP to be used for SYC business purposes.
We are accepting applications from qualified trades people who are interested in transitioning into a Training role and have the desire to share their skills and knowledge with others. You must have proven experience in the construction industry and be willing to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
