Trainer Assessor - Growth-Minded Organization

• Permanent full-time trainer position
• FIFO 8/6 roster
• Long standing mining contractor

Our client is a mining contractor with partnerships in place with a number of leading mine sites across WA. Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Trainer to join their team on an 8/6 roster with a competitive salary package on offer.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provision of training and assessments for site-based staff including operational personnel, trades-based employees and apprentices.
• Development of training and assessment materials including extensive training plans.
• Reporting and maintenance of training records and documents on the safety system.
• Working closely with the broader training team to provide exceptional training services.
• Ensuring training is kept within budget requirements.

About you:

• Relevant Qualification in the OHS field.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Certificate IV Assessor.
• Exposure to surface operations is highly regarded.
• Exposure to mobile plant operations preferred.
• Exposure to training across a range of operators such as Dump Trucks, Graders, Dozers, Excavators.
• Technologically savvy with the Microsoft suite of products, INX, or similar software system.
• Current Australian C Class Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
