Trainer & Assessor - TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - Start Now

An opportunity exists for an experienced trainer and assessor to be a part of our amazing team delivering the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at Monash University Clayton Campus on Saturdays.

This is a sessional, contract role. The contract is to teach a full TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course, running for a total of 25 sessions from August 2024 - April 2025 on Saturdays (9am-4.30pm) at Clayton. 

Further contracts may be available.

Applicants must :

• have an ABN as a Sole Trader
• be available to teach on campus at Monash University's Clayton Campus
• be available on Saturdays for classes 9am-4.30pm
• hold a current, valid Working With Children Check
• hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122)
• hold a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or a Diploma of Training Design and Development or a higher level qualification in adult education
   

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Delivering face to face classes on Saturdays in Clayton (and a small number of sessions on Zoom) for classes of 8-16 students
• Providing a friendly, unbiased approach to all students from many various diverse backgrounds  
• Communicating clearly, effectively and efficiently to students 
• Enabling continuous progression for students through regular contact and providing prompt assistance to student queries
• Marking of student assessment submissions in a timely manner
• Providing students with constructive feedback
• Using our student management software aXcelerate
