MultiSkills Training is a leading registered training organisation (RTO), providing WorkSafe High-Risk Work licence training and Civil Construction/ Rigging courses to employees and job seekers in Victoria. In addition, MultiSkills delivers a broad range of employer-specific, Verification of Competency (VOC), and bespoke training to our industry-based clients. The Role:
The position is full-time however, we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.
About You:
We are looking for professional educators with fantastic people skills, a solid vocational (workplace) background, and a passion for sharing learning with others. You may be a great fit if you have the following:
A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality
Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required
Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/ Assessor and hold current industry skills
Key responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meet ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulatory requirements
Supervise students’ behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
Maintain equipment, training venues, and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
Travel may be required to deliver training off-site
Perform other general duties as required
Essential criteria:
Hold a Cert IV TAE (and upgrade units if required)
Demonstrated workplace experience within a relevant industry sector
Be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Check Card and a Police Check
You will need to be an Australian Resident
Must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
