The Team Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) is A&M's deal analytics team within the Transaction Advisory Group (TAG). We support clients across the deal lifecycle by translating complex datasets into clear commercial insight for investors and executives.
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with transaction teams and across A&M's wider platform - Operational, Commercial, Technology, Tax and Restructuring - to deliver integrated due diligence and value creation insights.
How You Will Contribute We're looking for experienced individuals, from Analyst through to Manager level, to continue building our fast-growing practice. You'll lead or contribute to end-to-end analytics delivery, working closely with clients to scope and execute engagements, address complex problems, and communicate commercial conclusions.
You'll use modern analytics techniques and tools to deliver practical insight across a wide range of engagement types, including:
- Pre-deal evaluation & exit readiness
- Financial due diligence analytics
- Commercial & growth analytics
- Operational diligence & performance improvement
- Integration & separation (PMI/carve-outs)
- Working capital & CFO advisory
- Turnaround & restructuring support
- Payroll analytics
- Technology & data enablement
Qualifications If you have experience in a transaction environment (e.g., transaction services, M&A advisory, diligence) this will be highly valued.
We also welcome adjacent backgrounds (either commercial roles in operating businesses; audit analytics; or consulting roles in value creation, performance improvement or restructuring), provided you can apply analytics in a deal context and communicate conclusions that can influence decisions.
You'll also ideally bring:
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, paired with a commercial mindset and comfort working with imperfect data
- A clear understanding of how analytics affects deal decisions, with the ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, while achieving results under challenging timelines
- Practical capability with common analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx) and visualisation/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to modern cloud data environments and analytics workflows (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Fabric) would also be great
