This position requires a someone with a mature mind and who has recent demonstrated experience working within the Transport Industry in a similar role.
You will need a professional approach every day working with a high degree of initiative and the ability to meet customers’ expectations.
Outline of daily tasks:
Renew vehicle permits
Arrange any transport permits and related services
Manage the dispatching, routing and tracking of transport jobs through platforms
Daily review of payroll attributed to employees under your direction to ensure accurate and correct hours paid
Assist with dealing with customers' requests to schedule work and quotes
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
Demonstrated experience in scheduling a fleet of trucks
Sound knowledge of load restraint principles, fatigue management guidelines and legislations
The ability to communicate effectively with drivers, management and our customers
Attention to detail
Valid driving licence
