This role is suited to someone who has had experience as a Travel Agent in the past and is looking for an environment where sales are important but so is your work life balance!

In a perfect world you will have a client base that you are confident in nurturing and growing, but if you are new to Darwin or returning after some time out of the industry and are confident in growing a profitable client base let's talk! 

You will need to have some skills that are not negotiable (you need these to perform your role):

• Sales skills and experience is essential, you must know how to sell! 
• Travel experience and geographical knowledge - you have experienced international travel for yourself and are passionate about travelling. 
• Sabre experience is preferred but will consider other GDS experience if you are confident, you can learn Sabre with our trainer via zoom. 
• Knowledge and experience with a variety of suppliers across Australia and the world - understanding the supplier's product is vital to be able to sell confidently to clients.
• Attention to detail - this is essential. We all make mistakes especially when busy but the ability to see these and fix them is important!
• Strong customer service skills - our customers are important and each of them is treated like they are the most important person in our business. 
• Able to work unsupervised, there will be times when you are in the shop alone you must be able to work without supervision and be comfortable with your skills and experience to service our clients. 

itravel Darwin is a successful small team who are not afraid to get in and get the work done and celebrate the wins! Based at Jape Homemaker Village Millner we are open 6 days a week (Saturdays are shared amongst the team with Mondays off when you work a Saturday!) 

There are plenty of opportunities for FAMILS and educational opportunities with our team averaging 2-3 Famils in a 12-month period! 

We pay a salary depending on experience and commission when minimum KPI's are met.
