Overview

About the Role

We're currently searching for a Claims Consultant to join our Travel Claims team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Tavel Claims in an end-to-end capacity for a government portfolio. This position would suit an experienced claims handler, who has worked within the Travel Insurance industry.

The position will be offered on a permanent, full-time basis and we offer a flexible hybrid approach of working in our brand new Melbourne CBD Office, Working From Home (WFH).

How you'll make an impact

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing a high-level customer service to all internal and external partners
  • Managing a portfolio of Travel insurance claims, applying policy wording and guidelines to a customer's claimed circumstances
  • Processing claims from end to end to ensure resolution
  • Customer interactions by email and over the phone

About you

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
  • Claims handling experience is mandatory ideally within Travel Insurance
  • A passion for high-quality customer service
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian Citizenship (to be able to meet the requirements for obtaining a baseline security clearance)
