About the role
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Queensland Rail’s Travel Centre based in Cairns.
Our travel consultants provide high quality, friendly customer service. This role would suit someone with a passion for customer service and a genuine interest in helping people. You will be a quick thinker with an ability to work through problems and provide solutions. You will need to work autonomously in this role. This is a fixed term, part-time position (60 hours per fortnight) until March 2027.

Roster/Hours
Shifts are generally between the hours of 6.30 am to 5.30pm. You will be required to work alternate weekends and public holidays. Based on season peaks and business trends additional hours will be offered to part-time employees on a regular basis.
You may also be required to travel for work.
