About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic recruitment professional who enjoy working with candidates and operations more than business development!

This challenging yet rewarding role is perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility, attention to detail, and candidate management.

You’ll be responsible for advertising and recruiting healthcare staff for contract roles across rural and remote Australia. Managing your own portfolio, you’ll identify suitable career opportunities from numerous openings we need to fill.

You will also develop and maintain the Travel Nurse Candidate database, aligning with Healthcare Australia’s client needs, code of conduct, and procedures. This ensures efficient recruitment of quality staff to meet national client demands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and grow a national candidate pool for short and long term contracts across Australia
  • Provide ongoing support to the candidate as their dedicated contact person for all HCA Travel Nurse requirements
  • Continually support each candidate in your pool by making and maintaining regular contact
  • Review and action applicable candidates through the HCA Travel Nurse recruitment process – phone screen, interview, staged recruitment process and placement into a Travel Nurse contract
  • Maintain a high standard of conduct and work performance to promote Healthcare Australia’s reputation with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a collaborative day to day relationship with all Client Liaisons and team members
  • Efficiently coordinate the process for collecting, uploading and recruitment/registration documentation for all new and newly re-joined candidates
  • Ensure compliance with legal & company policies and reporting processes

To be considered:

  • Ability to operate in a high energy and dynamic team environment
  • Resourcing or recruitment experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Confident working towards KPIs, eager and willing to learn
  • Able to work independently with your own portfolio of healthcare staff
  • High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to adapt to other IT systems
  • Organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • A ‘can do’, positive attitude and a great sense of humour
