The Role

This role offers a unique opportunity for a treasury professional to take on a senior-level position in a dynamic, hands-on capacity. You will be instrumental in establishing and shaping our treasury function, with a strong focus on governance, policy, and process implementation. As an Australian company with a global reach, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, working closely with the Directors, CFO, and other stakeholders in the finance team. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring our financial stability.

The Treasury Manager will work closely with finance team across the business with responsibilities including.

• Prepare and measure accurate cash flow reporting
• Weekly review and strategic advisory for cash position
• Manage bank relationships
• Manage and optimise fund sourcing and loans
• Support monthly accounting from a treasury standpoint
• Oversee payment channels
• Collaborate with global treasury team to develop global strategy

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Maintain the relationship with corporate bank and trading facility
• Working with the businesses and accounting team to monitor funds flow
• Monitor daily cash balances and assist the accounting team in discrepancies located
• Provide timely reports on cash positions and financial performance of treasury function.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts to effectively manage cash requirements.
• Manage global intercompany transactions and borrowing processes, reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate the approval of payments in line with controls set out in the approval matrix
• Own and improve the governance of treasury accounting systems and processes
• Capital structure optimization and funding parties' relationship management

Your Profile

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience working as a treasury specialist within a complex / larger organisation

• 3+ years treasury experience
• Treasury experience working in a complex organization
• Procedures, policy and process experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
