Job Description - Tribe Lead, Mortgages and Insurance

Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking suitably qualified applicants for the role of Tribe Lead - Mortgages & Insurance . This role is accountable for leading the end-to-end mortgages business while also overseeing ING's insurance portfolio, playing a pivotal part in shaping and delivering ING's broader enterprise agenda. Key focus areas include strengthening alignment across the mortgages, digital and insurance ecosystems to ensure cohesive strategy, seamless customer experiences and effective execution across these interconnected areas as we pursue our growth ambitions.
What You'll Do
Lead the full mortgage ecosystem including pricing, portfolio, origination, sales channels, in life experience and first line risk line.
Drive sustainable 2× system growth by improving margins, strengthening risk culture and uplifting customer and broker experience.
Accelerate digital and AI enabled transformation to materially improve time to yes and origination flow to yes and origination flow.
Champion operational excellence and safe business practices across ~140 FTE in sales, credit, in life and transformation.
Support enterprise growth by embedding insurance within mortgage journeys and enabling digital sales pathways such as Realtime quoting and self-serve experiences.
What We're Looking For
Tribe-Lead level experience
Deep mortgage and lending expertise, with strong commercial acumen across origination, pricing, portfolio and distribution.
