We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Truck Driver who enjoys the quiet solitude of lone work to join our team in Taree and provide a clean driving record and maintain good customer relations during the feed delivery task as the face of Ridley. The successful candidate will be provided full training support required to gain competency in all aspects of the role and the onsite requirements. Key responsibilities for this position include: Following delivery instructions Complete pre vehicle start up checks prior to commencing deliveries Ensure the integrity and completeness of delivery paperwork Maintain a work diary when required Ensure samples are taken and provided Report any non-conformance related to the feed or delivery (including hazard identification) Update farm delivery instructions as required Report any defects or problems with the truck or associated equipment Ensure the truck is kept in a presentable state including washing the exterior of the truck, keep a tidy and clean interior etc. Abide all procedure designed to preserve finished product quality and integrity Clean up any spillage resulting from the loading/unloading task (on site or on farm) The key skills required for this role include: Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR) Mechanical aptitude Good problem-solving and analytical skills Previous experience in the stock feed industry (desirable) Minimum 2 years Heavy Vehicle driving experience (desirable) How to apply If this is you, please visit www.ridley.com.au/about/vacancies to submit your resume.
