Truck Driver - HR

There's a real satisfaction to this work, and not everyone gets it. You know your stops before you leave the yard. You know your customers. You know that "delivered correctly" in cold chain isn't optional — it's the whole point.

CHILL runs temperature-controlled freight across QLD, and our HR Drivers make every last kilometre count. Not just on time. Handled correctly, documented properly, and never with an excuse about customer experience.

What you'll be doing

Metro multi-drop and regional runs. Shifts start from 4am, with later starts available from 5:30am depending on the run. Chilled and frozen product. Tailgate loader operation. Pre-trip inspections — no exceptions. POD photo documentation and temperature recording done right, every stop.

You'll run your manifest on our tech platform and own your end-of-day reporting. The accountability is real. So is the autonomy, your run is yours to manage.

Good team in the depot too. The banter is legit.

What we need from you

• Current HR licence (no disqualifications in the past three years)
• Tailgate loader operation experience
• Refrigerated or cold chain transport background (desirable)
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Available for 4am starts and variable shift patterns
• Professional pride that doesn't need reminding
• Comfortable using mobile applications for navigation and delivery tracking
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Availability to work weekends when required
• Current national police check and CHILL will send you for a pre-employment driver medical clearance

HR CHILL Premium Rate:

• Hourly Rate equivalent to $73,000 (Perm) - $79,000 (Casual) per annum

• Location: Yatala
• Contract: Casual or Permanent roles available.
• Hours: 40 -55 hours per week
