Trust Accountant Sutherland Shire

Our client, an award-winning agency with a strong presence in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, is seeking a Trust Accountant to manage their combined rent roll of 1000+ properties.

The Role:

• Tenant rent receipting
• Daily reconciliations
• End of month and Mid-Month processes, including checking landlord payments methods, statements, and fees
• Landlord outgoings and redirections
• Adjusting ledgers and rent as necessary
• Bond reconciliation
• Allocation of unallocated funds and tenant reimbursements
• Adding owner, property, and creditor files
• Amending files (e.g., owner bank account details)
• Entry of creditor and tenant invoices
• Sending client statements and handling printing and posting of owner/creditor statements/remittances
• Processing invoices

The Person:

• Holds a current NSW certificate of registration
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• A team player with a desire to advance their career
