Job Description

From the beginning of your journey as an Artist with us you will work closely with Art and Design teams to ensure the highest quality graphics defining the look and feel of the menus while paying special attention to the quality of the user experience.

Responsibilities  

• Demonstrate creative adaptability across diverse game styles and graphic aesthetics through a strong portfolio
• Uphold the game vision while designing visually stunning and functionally efficient UI systems
• Create high-quality game assets, balancing creativity with adherence to technical specifications
• Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, contributing to a harmonious working environment and proactively solving artistic and technical challenges
• Provide clear and comprehensive documentation for all UI assets, ensuring seamless integration into the game development pipeline
• Cultivate a highly adaptable and customer-oriented mindset, tailoring UI designs to enhance player satisfaction
• Showcase excellent organisational and time management skills, delivering UI assets efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Actively participate in regular team meetings, providing transparent progress reports and contributing to task discussions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven expertise in Graphic Design or UI roles within the games industry
• Exhibit exceptional skills in design, emphasising proficiency in graphic design, typography, and motion design
• Possess a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, contributing to the creation of seamless and user-friendly interfaces
• Bring valuable experience in white boxing, showcasing proficiency in conceptualising and prototyping UI designs
• Serve as a design expert in industry-standard software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and/or Animate
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine is advantageous; training will be provided for candidates with the right skills and potential
• Showcase a robust portfolio featuring examples of UI Design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and Iconography
• Any experience with published titles is considered a bonus, demonstrating a tangible impact on completed projects
