Underground Service Crew - 2/2 roster

Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

On behalf of one of our valued clients we are seeking experienced Underground Service Crew for 2/2 rosters. 

This position is temp to perm with our gold mining client with potential for career progression.

• This is not an entry level role, Underground service crew experience is required.

Duties:

1. Repair and install ventilation services to areas where instructed, which includes bags of up to 20kg.
2. Moving/installing secondary ventilation fans.
3. Install, maintain, repair and extend air, water and dewatering services as per site specifications and mine planning.
4. Maintain and install pumps underground.
5. Operate IT (Integrated Tool Carrier) and Light Vehicles.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

• Experienced Underground Service Crew, 12 months is preferred 
• Working at Heights Certificate.
• A National Police Clearance under 12 months will be required.
• Manual Drivers Licence 
• A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
• Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
