Underwriter - Workers Compensation

Join IAG and help make the world a safer place as a Workers Compensation Underwriter. Working closely with our new business team, you will underwrite Sunrise new business, support renewals, and ensure strong risk selection. You'll collaborate with claims, credit services and partners to deliver timely, accurate outcomes and excellent customer experiences. This role suits a commercially minded person who enjoys analysing risk, building relationships and contributing to business performance, while upholding compliance, integrity, wellbeing and inclusion in everything you do.  This is a permanent full-time role based in Boorloo (Perth).

What You'll Do

• Underwriting of new business opportunities via Sunrise Workers Compensation program
• Process and manage workers compensation new business, adjustments and renewals
• Work closely with our existing new business team to achieve new business targets
• Build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• Workers Compensation Underwriting experience or exposure is desirable
• General Insurance experience is essential
• Strong relationship building skills
• Previous team work experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
