Qualifications & Experience

• DBYD Certified Locator or willingness to complete the assessment (training provided)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Western Power Network Induction (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• White Card
• ATCO Approved Locator (preferred)
• APA Permit Issue Officer (beneficial)
• Ground Penetrating Radar Training (preferred)
• Confined Spaces and Gas Atmosphere Training (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Uphold Abaxa’s "Safety First Culture" through meticulous planning, risk assessment, and proactive communication.

Consult with clients on project requirements, work plans, and risk management.

Deliver strikeless jobs with comprehensive risk assessments and client handovers.

Engage in monthly HSE Toolbox sessions, workshops, and training programs.
