Job Description - V- Food Collection Driver

ABOUT US

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities.  We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better.  It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.

🚛🚚The Salvation Army at Parramatta welcomes all people who are looking for connection, guidance or community. One of our key services to the community is in providing a safe and dignified place for community members to come to if they are finding they are unable to meet their food needs. All this wouldn’t be possible without a team of volunteers, specifically volunteering in the role of Food Collection Driver who provides support in collecting and/or unloading vans, checking and placing food stock for distribution during market days and providing friendly and professional attention to community members.🍞🥪🍗🍊🍏
