Valve & Pump Technician - Fast Hire

The Company

Pressure and Safety Systems has supplied industry with pressure relieving & pressure control devices since 1966. We represent world class manufacturers of quality valves and manufacture a specialised range of pumps (Reeve Pumps). Our products are well known for their quality and reliability.

Your main duties will be to: 

• Prepare valves for dispatch including assembly, setting/testing and tagging.
• Preparation and review of test certificates, inspection reports.
• Prepare pumps & irrigators for dispatch including: machining, assembly, testing, painting.
• Repair of pumps/valves including: cleaning, tear down, fault identification, fault rectification, component replacement, assembly, testing, cleaning, painting, report preparation.
• Assist with the fabrication/welding, machining and assembly of Reeve Pumps and Irrigators. 
• Working with customers to ensure service/repair work is completed in line with expectations.

You will have a fitting & turning, maintenance fitting or similar background with experience with a using range of workshop equipment. Specific valve industry background is not essential as product related training is available.

Other valuable skills include: 

• Forklift licence
• Restricted electrical work licence
• Welding/fabrication 
• Competency in use of computers & Microsoft office
