About the Role:
As our Venue Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our pub, ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional experience. Your leadership will inspire our team, your creativity will bring events to life, and your operational skills will keep everything running smoothly.

Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the Venue Manager will have a strong background in food and beverage, gaming and revenue generation. You have the opportunity to bring your personality and sense of fun to work and will have the ability to shape the venue.
 
Skills and Experience:

• Managing and supervising venue functions and ensuring all aspects are running smoothly
• Overseeing operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, beverage service, sales and events, gaming and cash management
• Using a strong financial and business acumen coupled with operational experience to effectively deliver the venues operational targets and vision
• Training and developing the team, and retaining top talent 
• Responding to and recognising customer feedback
• Ensuring strict stock control and inventory management
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required and to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and requirements
• Ensuring the venue and staff are presented immaculately at all times 

 
About You:

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Venue Management  
• Previous experience in accommodation management is advantageous
• Experience achieving sales targets, KPIs and maximising profits
• Industry licences and accreditation including: RSA/RCG, wagering accreditation
• A guest focussed mindset, maintaining a high level of service at all times
• The ability to professionally lead, manage, train and support a large team 
• Strong background in a gaming orientated venue with proven results to show same.
• Current police check required
