As a Venue Manager, you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within their field. The successful applicant for this role will need to be dynamic, well presented, commercially savvy and pro-active to the needs of our guests and a real people person. In this role you will be responsible for the day–to-day operation of this iconic venue offering a unique crafted dining experience, including effective management of a dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service at The Star Gold Coast.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Work with the support of the Assistant Venue Managers to drive venue profitability and efficiencies
• Analysis and management of labour and cost of goods to maximise venue revenue
• Mentoring and developing your team to maximise engagement and retention
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders 

What are we looking for:

• Extensive venue management experience in high-end restaurants, executive lounges or bars
• A hands-on operational approach and be passionate about developing your career within hospitality
• Outstanding standards, professionalism, and a commitment to guest service
• A passion for service – someone who loves to build rapport with your regular guests!
• Confidence to lead a large and diverse team (150+ TMs) that provides mentoring to get the best out of each individual
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail skills are highly regarded
• A transparent, thoughtful and consistent approach to team communications
• Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
