Full-Time Veterinary Nurse Wanted – Everton Park Vet Surgery

About the role

As a Veterinary Nurse at Everton Park Vet Surgery, you will play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate nursing care to patients, including hospitalised patient monitoring and recovery
• Assisting veterinarians with consultations, surgical procedures, dental procedures, and patient care
• Preparing patients for procedures, diagnostics, and treatments
• Administering medications, treatments, and preventative healthcare as directed by veterinarians
• Performing in-house pathology, sample collection, and laboratory tasks
• Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting with surgical nursing duties
• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Conducting nursing consultations and providing client education and support
• Communicating with clients regarding patient care, discharge instructions, and follow-up requirements
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control
• Assisting with stock management and ensuring the clinic environment remains organised and efficient
• Supporting the wider veterinary team and contributing to a positive clinic culture

This role includes a 2 in 4 Saturday rotation, providing a balanced work-life schedule while supporting our clients and patients when they need us most.

About you

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience working as a veterinary nurse in a clinical environment
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and delivering excellent patient care
• Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive workplace
