Veterinary Laboratory Assistant

IDEXX is seeking a motivated Veterinary Laboratory Assistant to join our Patient Service Management (PSM) team within our core laboratory. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about laboratory science, quality, and customer service, and is eager to support cutting-edge diagnostic services that make a meaningful difference in animal health.

As a Veterinary Laboratory Assistant, you will work closely with our scientific team to support the day-to-day operations of the PSM department, ensuring accurate, timely, and high‑quality diagnostic outcomes in a fast paced environment.

About You

You are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative laboratory environment. You bring a strong commitment to quality and safety and take pride in delivering exceptional service.

Key Requirements

• Completion of, or progress towards, a Diploma in Laboratory Technology (or equivalent)

• Previous experience in a multi‑discipline diagnostic laboratory (highly regarded)

• Working knowledge of NATA and ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 accreditation standards

• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including some Saturdays

• A genuine passion for customer service excellence

• Strong attention to detail, alongside clear and effective communication skills

• A demonstrated commitment to IDEXX values, quality systems, and Health & Safety policies and procedures
