Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre is seeking a friendly, experienced, and compassionate Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. If you are passionate about animal care, enjoy working with people, and have experience in the veterinary industry, we would love to hear from you.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every visit is a positive experience.

About the role:

• Welcoming clients and providing professional, compassionate customer service
• Managing phone enquiries, appointments, emails, and client communications
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting veterinarians and nursing staff with daily clinic operations
• Providing reassurance and care to pets and their owners
• Assisting with general administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic

About you:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working in the veterinary industry in a reception, nursing, or client-focused role
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or related qualification preferred, but not essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• A warm, friendly, and professional approach with clients and team members
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care

Position details:

• Part-time position
• Monday to Thursday availability
• No weekend work required
