About the Role

Our VIC Projects Team is seeking a Project Manager ready to take responsibility for the successful delivery of Audio-Visual integration projects from planning through to completion. This includes working closely alongside, supervising and supporting the integration team on site to ensure we are meeting our project deadlines, delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers, and operating at maximum efficiency with thorough planning, execution and closure of a project.
This role would suit a Project Manager with experience in AV, electrical, data, communications or technology integration environments. We are also open to experienced AV technicians or tradespeople with a strong technical background who are looking to develop their project management skills and grow within the role.

About You

The ideal candidate will have trade experience in the Audio-Visual, Electrical or Communications industries. Growth and continual learning will be an essential part of being a successful member of the Project Management Team.

Essential

• Knowledge of AV / IT network systems.


• An ability to work autonomously, under time and budget pressures with the aptitude to meet project deadlines.


• The ability to review and understand schematics, architectural drawings and specifications.


• Proven relationship building and direct communication skills.


• Previous experience managing and liaising with customers, contractors & site staff.


• Effective time management skills.


• A methodical approach to project documentation control.


• Proven experience in the management and scheduling of resources.


• A clear understanding and commitment to WHS.
  

Nice to have

• Cert IV or higher in Project Management / Prince2 or PMBOK qualifications


• Competency in MS Project Planning software.


• Knowledge of AV / IT network systems.
  


• A sound business acumen and strong understanding of business ethics and culture.
  


• A proven ability to think strategically and contribute commercially at all levels.
