Vintage Cellar Hand, Barossa Valley Estate

Barossa Valley Estate is a modern undercover winery, with excellent facilities located amongst the vineyards on our estate in the heart of the Barossa Valley, South Australia.

The Opportunity 

We are seeking dynamic and motivated people to join our team for a truly rewarding vintage experience.

All Vintage Cellar Hands will be involved in various winemaking and cellar operations which include:

• Grape receival and processing


• Fermentation management and tank additions


• Performing routine cellar cleaning, to maintain a safe, and hygienic cellar environment


• General cellar operations, including transfers and barrel operations

Seasonal employment would commence during February 2027 and continue through the vintage period into March/April.  

Successful applicants would need to be available for varied shifts, including weekends, and extended hours as rostered to meet operational demands.

About you

• You are a highly motivated person; previous cellar experience is preferred but not essential


• You are a clear communicator who thrives in a team environment


• You have a good eye for detail and naturally take pride in your work


• You are physically fit to perform the duties and have the energy to contribute to our team


• You demonstrate a ‘Winning together’ mindset through understanding the perspectives of others and maintaining strong bonds
