About the Role

As a Vintage Forklift Driver, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our harvest operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of grapes and materials throughout the site. This is a hands-on casual role requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

About the Role

·         Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to transport grape bins

·         Loading and unloading trucks with grapes and winemaking supplies

·         Stacking and organizing bins and pallets in designated areas

·         Assisting with general cellar tasks as required, including cleanup and maintenance

·         Performing routine equipment checks and reporting any maintenance issues

·         Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

·         Maintaining a clean and organized work area

The start date for this casual position is Monday, February 9th, 2026, with the position lasting 4 to 6 weeks. Successful candidates must be able to work day, afternoon and night shifts

Key Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must:

·         Current and valid Australian Forklift License (LF)

·         Proven experience operating forklifts in a vineyard, agricultural or similar environment

·         A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating procedures

·         Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment

·         Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

·         Have the right to work in Australia until at least the end of April 2026

·         Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

·         Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and potentially some overtime

·         Valid Driver's License and own transportation to the Coldstream site
