Volunteer Opportunity â Brighten a Seniorâs Day in Bossley Park!

Are you looking to make a real difference in someoneâs life? Weâre seeking friendly, compassionate volunteers to spend one-on-one time with elderly residents in a care home in Bossley Park.

Monday to Friday

Flexible times: 10am -12pm or 2pmâ5pm

30 minutes to 1 hour per visit

Your visit could include:

- A gentle walk in the garden

- A fun game of bingo

- Sharing coffee in the courtyard

- A warm chat and meaningful conversation

- Or simply sitting together and being present

No special skills are needed â just kindness, patience, and a listening ear.

Whether youâre a student, retiree, professional, or have time to give, you are welcome here. Every smile shared makes a difference.

Come help reduce loneliness, build beautiful connections, and bring joy to someoneâs day.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
